In the Student Homes the kids commit to volunteer hours each week, with a minimum of four hours per week, many of the kids spend upwards of 12 hours assisting at the old folks home in Jinotepe.In these photos, taken by our students, they are showing off some of the elders in the assisted living facility called El Asilo.
In the photo to the right, Osmany is in his Medical shirt. He helps by checking the physical status of the folks, taking blood pressure and keeping records. Osmany is studying Nursing at his University.
